Playtest #4 Doc - Ancient Treant

Hi everyone!

Our next playtest doc is out!  This is for the Ancient Treant (Boss CR 9).  This packet also includes an additional option for gathering specific materials, as well as handling Reactions and Beginning/End of Turn effects for Phase Combatants!



To participate in the playtest, you must complete the following.

First, we are making this post public to let folks know you can pre-order Fiendish Forge!

Second, our next playtest doc is out!  This is for the Bloodmantle - a Standard CR 2 with a Standard CR 9 Variant (Bloodmantle Lord)! 

To participate in the playtest, you must complete the following.

Excited to announce our next playtest doc is out!  This is for the Cerberus - a Boss CR 9 that will sure bring a challenge to your party! 

This playtest also introduces Called Shot mechanics.

Playtest #1 Doc - Dretch Duke is OUT!

Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for your patience.
Our first playtest doc - the Dretch Duke - is out now on the Io Publishing Discord!  This includes Gathering, Crafting, and Phase Combat Rules, along with the introduction of new terms such as Bloodied, Spawn, and Interrupt.
This doc features the entire Dretch Duke entry, so description, regional effects, stat blocks (for Dretch Duke and Dretch Subject), The Foul Vintage Questline, Materials, and themed Magic ITems.

To participate and get a playtester role, please be sure to fill out your survey!

I wanted to let you know that our pre-order store for Fiendish Forge is now open! If you missed out on picking up something from our Backerkit - now is your chance to do so! Everything is still available, but we will primarily be making what was crowdfunded for and pre-ordered! Don't wait until release - as we will have very limited inventory at that time!

If you'd like to participate in our upcoming playtest sessions - please make sure to fill out this survey ASAP - and include your discord handle in the survey! We must be able to verify your account to give you access to the playtest channels.

We will announce our first playtest announcement soon after Hurricane Milton passes through the state and we have restored power (if we end up losing it).
